Hot Chocolate is very famous during winter season but for chocolate lovers, it is a treat during any season.
When i was living in The Netherlands, I remember sipping on hot Chocomel at the ice rink stalls and watching people skate. Since then, I have always wanted to make Hot Chocolate and the chocolate lover that I am , can have it anytime and all the time.
Today i had a craving for something chocolaty and decided to make this.
It is very simple and all we need are the following 4 ingredients.
- Cocoa powder (Green&Black’s)- 1tbsp
- Sugar- 1 to 2 tbsp (depending on the sweetness preferred)
- Milk- I glass
- Salt- a pinch
Make sure you use a good quality cocoa powder, preferably dark cocoa powder.
Method: Mix cocoa powder, sugar and salt. Heat milk in a pan, add the mixture and use a whisk to make sure cocoa dissolves evenly without any lumps.Bring it to boil, add the hot chocolate in a cup and top it with some marshmallows.
A lovely cup of Hot Chocolate is ready.
