5 in 1 Chaat Gravy

I am writing this post on a rainy afternoon in Utrecht, Netherlands. It has been raining since morning and the weather seems so pleasant. In the balcony, sipping over Nescafe’s Vanilla Latte, I bring to you a delicious chaat gravy made with peas. What can be more mouth watering for Indians on a rainy day, CHAATS of course!!!

This gravy can be used to make the following chaats:

  1. Masala Puri
  2. Bhel Puri – populary called Gila(wet) Bhel
  3. Aloo Chaat
  4. Tomato chaat
  5. Moong dal chaat

All Indians love chaat. My husband can survive on chaats the whole day. Last week I had to attend a pot luck dinner at my friend’s place. Each one had to cook their country’s delicacy. I wanted to make some snacks but not the deep fried ones. Hence, decided to give masala puri gravy a try. I asked my husband to try it. He said he has more ideas and went into the kitchen only to surprise me with the variety he had tried with the gravy. It tasted sooo yummy. Now we don’t miss having chaat here as we can make it at home 🙂 Everyone loved it at the pot luck. Success!!
